Welcome to the Spring Intro to Lacrosse House Program!
We are excited to offer this program to boys and girls from kindergarten to 6th grade!.
Practice and Skill Development:
Our K-2 program will be a co-ed program that meets once per week over a six-week period from mid-April through May.
All 3rd through 6th grade players will meet twice per week with an emphasis on skill development and will play scrimmages. If your player has already participated in this program, we strongly encourage them to consider playing with our Lacrosse League for more competitive play including structured games. Practice days and location are tentative as Missoula Wild works with Missoula Parks and Rec for field time. We will get the finalized practice locations after the first of the year. Also note that our start date is dependent on weather as well.
Gear:
For our Intro to Lacrosse House Program, players only need a stick and a mouth guard. The club provides tennis balls and can lend sticks for the season if needed.
Coaches Needed! If you are interested in volunteering as a coach with this program please reach out! No prior lacrosse coaching experience needed, we will help train you.
MLC Registration & USA Lacrosse Registration Requirement:
Please note, all athletes will be required to register with USA Lacrosse ($35) while registering with Missoula WILD Lacrosse.

This is an intro to lacrosse program for boys and girls in kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade. This six week program is designed to give the youngest players the opportunity to develop basic movement skills and basic lacrosse skills using sticks and tennis balls. Practice will start on Tuesday 4/16/2024, 6:00-7:00 pm at Playfair Park in Missoula (Weather Permitting). This program continues weekly for 6 weeks. |

Missoula Wild Lacrosse is a lacrosse program established in Missoula valley to serve boys and girls from kindergarten through 12th grade. Our league teams compete against teams across the state of Montana. We are committed to providing a safe, kid-centered fun environment to participate in the sport of lacrosse and learn the valuable life lessons best taught through sports.
